BAD HAIR DAYS ON THE RISE?

It maybe time for a new style when your bad hair days out number your good.  Before you do anything drastic have you explored all avenues to sharpen your style?  Here are a few tips to read before you go under the knife.

CORRALLING THE BANG COWLICK
Bangs are great for softening a severe cut or camouflaging a harsh face shape but when you have a cowlick it only brings frustration.  To corral wayward bangs try blow drying bangs forward using a vent brush or round brush then sweeping them to the side when they're dry.  If it doesn't work try parting your pangs at your cowlick.  If you have thicker hair pull more of your hair into the bang to weigh the cowlick down.  Back combing the under side of your bangs may also help to stop the dreaded split in the bangs.
GROUNDING FLY AWAYS
The reason hair doesn't fly away everyday is because hair follicles naturally attracted and retain moisture.  However, it takes moisture to attract moisture; when conditions are dry, you need to provide your hair with supplementary help.  Using a conditioning serum/oil will help with this.  Most serums can be mixed with other styling products.  Work serums into the ends of the hair and work your way up the hair.
Products to try: K Pak Color Therapy Serum, Chi Silk Infusion, Pearatin Repairative Serum
TAKING THE LIMP OUT OF LONG TRESSES
Hair stays how it dries so if you dry your hair flat to your head you will have a hard time making it look fuller.  When the hair is damp lean over and let your hair hang, blow dry your hair starting at the scalp, brushing your hair the opposite direction it's going to lay.  Finish the drying process starting in the nape and working your way up to the forehead.  If you are flat ironing your hair make sure you elevate your hair at the roots before you continue down the rest of the strand.
